OVERVIEW

  • In this course you will gain detailed drafting and design skills, and learn how to oversee the installation and maintenance of machinery.   • Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a mechanical engineering technician or associate. You can also continue with further tertiary study in this area.

ELIGIBILITY OF STUDENTS FOR GOVERNMENT FUNDING

  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits.
  • Students must be employed in a role that enables them access to appropriate workplace tasks.
  • AIE will confirm the suitability of the learner's employment prior to commencement.
  • The RTO has funding contracts in VIC, SA and NSW. Please contact the RTO for eligibility requirements for each state to see if you are eligible for funding.
